English has a construction known as tag-question.  Some examples are given below:

(1) Frieda closed the door, didn't she?

(2) I can come, can't I?

(3) You won't be there, will you?

These structures are called tag-questions, because they involve a simple sentence, with an extra 'tag' on the end.
