After the rough ride that FC 26 gave a lot of us, EA FC 27 has a proper chance to reset things. People still want the same thing, honestly: a game that feels sharp, fair, and fun to grind. That means cleaner menus, less nonsense in matches, and a better path for squads. A lot of players also keep an eye on FC 27 Coins early on, because building a decent team fast still matters way more than people like to admit.
Why FC 26 Left So Many Players ColdFC 26 sold well, no doubt about that, but sales never tell the full story. Plenty of players loved the broadcast look, the kits, the stadiums, all that. Then they jumped into matches and felt the drop-off. The gameplay had this odd drag to it. Turns felt heavy. Defending could be weirdly inconsistent. You'd win one game because your back line behaved, then lose the next because it just. didn't. That kind of thing gets under your skin fast.
PC players had their own mess too. Some dealt with stutter right away, others with crashes that killed a session before it even got going. Sure, patches helped later, but launch week already did the damage. And Ultimate Team? That was another headache. Packs felt brutal, menus felt slow, and if you weren't putting in serious time, it was hard to keep up. For a lot of folks, the gap between casual play and top-end squads felt way too wide.
What EA Seems Ready to ChangeOne of the biggest rumors is a more flexible Evolution setup. If that lands the way people hope, it could make squad building feel less copy-paste. Players want freedom. They want to take a favorite card and shape it their way, not just follow one narrow upgrade lane. That would also help break up the same old meta teams everyone runs into by week two.
There's also talk about a cleaner SBC flow, which sounds boring until you've spent an hour clicking through clunky menus. Faster navigation would save a ton of time. Then there's the big social hub idea, FC The Grounds, which could be a fun change if EA doesn't overcomplicate it. Small-sided games, mini-games, social spaces. it could give the series a bit more life outside standard match play. The table below shows where the main pressure points sit.

What Players Are Saying Out Loud1. Better gameplay first, everything else later.
2. Less menu faff, please.
3. Make squads feel different again.
Reality check: Most players won't care about fancy features if the first weekend feels laggy or unbalanced.
The Trust Problem EA Still Has to Fix    Someone asked the other day whether one good trailer could win people back. Not really. Players have seen too many big promises before.
A stable launch would do a lot more than hype ever could. If the gameplay feels smooth and the balance is decent, people will stick around.
Where FC 27 Can Actually Win People OverThe funny thing is, most fans are not asking for magic. They just want a game that behaves itself. Clean defending. Less random AI weirdness. Better pack pacing. A mode that doesn't feel like a second job. If EA can nail those basics, the rest starts to matter more. Content creators will shape the first wave of opinion, sure, but regular players are the ones who keep a game alive week after week. If the buzz stays positive, FC 27 could land in a much better place than its predecessor. And for anyone trying to get ahead early, FIFA Coins for sale will probably stay part of the conversation as the season gets rolling.
